I don't know of any others in the area that are ready to try to take his place. He set a standard that the rest of us will be hard put to match when it comes to the Olympia Boat Fair. Still...all in all, it is a great in the water boat show for anyone that can attend. Lots of great boats to see, some new, mostly a lot of really nice older wood boats. Some really a bit unusual but then some of the finest examples of workmanship available from a number of well known builders. Well worth the drive to Olympia. Quote
