Albatross, Mighty sea birds[ot]

For some of you landlocked and for some that have never seen these in open sea, I thought since its a bit slow around here, I would place this here for educational purposes, too, since we enjoy some youth here, both young and old ones.

The research, based on tracking the precise movements of 22 birds, reveals that males are most likely to circumnavigate the world, with the fastest managing a distance of 14,000 miles in 46 days - the equivalent of a steady 13mph.

The wing span is around 7 1/2 feet, according to the experts. Thats almost the size of the 4x8 sheet of plywood, long ways.
