Princess 22 coaming pictures

The coamings are installed on the Princess and she's all ready for glassing on the cabin, decks and cockpit. Hopefully today I can start and with any luck finish Sunday or Monday.

Here's what the coamings look like.

I gave the boat an access opening in the last section for stowing dock lines or what ever.

At the forward end there are these laminated Okume blocks- 4 layers of 9 mm, glued and screwed to the cabin side and to the coamings.

Of course this has all been filleted and sanded , ready for glassing.

Boy, you do nice work, Charlie! I really like the little storage locker under the coaming. Is there one on each side?

That looks like one fine boat. I'm looking forward to seeing more of her as you move toward the launching.

Yes - there's a stowage space port and starboard. From there forward to the cabin. the remainder of the under deck area behind the rest of the coaming port and starboard is stuffed with foam.
