warthog5 Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 Yes you want to see the weave when you first squeege the glass. Using excessive epoxy at first will be a waste and the glass will try and float on you. After about 3 to4hrs you can roll on more epoxy to fill the weave. Your better off with thin coat and wait another 3hrs. Then another thin coat and so on. This will make it so you don't have runs to clean up and no sanding. But you will be fooling with it ALL day. I glass the inside of my panels before the boat is put together too. It keeps you from bending over so much and panels laid flat are the easiest to glass. Quote
