Dimension Help

I can't find the dimension for the centerboard trunk mounting to hull bottom. I see some dimensions to items nearby that would get me close but can someone show me area that the exact dimension is shown? Probably right in front of my eyes. :oops: Seems like a critical dimension like this would be set from the pin or something?

On a semi related question, how do you keep the cat from sitting on your plans? every time I set them down on the floor or the table, there she is right in my way, lounging on the plans.

Tim, I just looked it up for you and it is a bit convoluted. I positioned the center thwart at 115 3/8" aft of the bow measured horizontally. The back of the trunk starts 1/2" forward of the aft end of the center thwart which is 11 1/4". Like I said convoluted. The obvious thing would be to give you a distance back from the forward bulkhead, which I was reluctant use as I was concerned that it might not be put in accurately and throw everything off.

I expect to be folding out a CS17 next week and I will spend some time on the plan and make it clearer.

I had the same question for my CS17 and Graham explained it to me the same way. No problems... As for the cat, I have the same problems with one of my cats as well. The real problem with cats is they can't wait to walk on wet epoxy. One of my cats has long hair between his toes and leaves funny looking epoxy paw prints everywhere. I had to wash his feet with vinegar to get it off. He was NOT a happy camper. My other problem with animals is my little beagle "Barney". He insists on sitting in the boat. I have a ladder set up at the transom to enter the boat to work on it and he climbs the ladder to "park" himself in the boat. When I move the ladder, He sits at the back of the building cradle and howls and wimpers like I took away his long lost friend. Kinda' funny really.
