Larger boats

I have a couple boats on my wish list for future projects. One in the near future is a guide type canoe. My wife would like to do some exploring in a canoe. Our passenger weight would be about 450#. I was wondering if you have anything on the drawing board for such a payload? Wide beam, stable and longer than you currently offer. What about commissioning such a design?

My second but more distant wish is for a pilothouse style power boat. I have not found what I am looking for in plans. The bluejacket comes the closest but it has too shallow deadrise for my needs. Devlin's Surf Scoter is a battleship and semi displacement. What I am looking for is inbetween these two. Light S&G construction, 12 degree deadrise or so and planing. This may be a boat that fits your niche for filling needs where no other designs exist. Maybe with a core sound style.

Joe, I have been kicking around a larger touring version of our 2 person Moccasin canoe for a while now and I think I can maintain the same building qualities as her smaller sisters and give you the load that you want.

As for your second request, I have a bit too much work on my plate right now to start such a project.

Joe, I am in agreement on the pilot house criuser. I have teh plans for the Blue Jacket and intend upon building her soon (I hope). Same concerns about the deadrise though. ?)
