Frank Hagan Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 If any of you are accessing the boat classified site at classifieds2000.com, part of "infospace.com" and formerly excite.com, be aware that it has been identified as a possible rouge site: Vendor:Possible Browser Hijack attempt Category:Misc Object Type:File Size:228 Bytes Location: \boatsforsale\the ultimate guide - classifieds2000.com.url Comment:Item refers to blacklisted Site: h t t p : //w w w .i n f o s p a c e . c o m /info.cls2k/?ran=00508 Description:Possible attempt to control\redirect the browser. This object referrs to a "blacklisted" site. I mangled the URLs above for "infospace" and "classifieds2000" so none of you will click on them. Delete these from your favorites list if you have them listed there (unless you want someone you don't know taking control of your browser!) Quote
