Barry Pyeatt Posted September 23, 2003 Posted September 23, 2003 Your keel would be 3/8" thicker than designed, no problem really as you build you will need to compensate for the difference. Where the bottom sits into a knotch you would loft it with a 3/8" flat at the point instead of zero and add 3/16 to the first station and progressively less at each of the next couple stations to fair it in. The same will happen with the deck where it joins the stem, but other than that, it really won't make any difference except in the weight and that will help some. Quote
