    In addition to wooden boatbuilding, I enjoy all manner of wilderness adventures--in the mountains and canyons and on lakes, rivers, and the ocean. With a five year-old daughter, my wife and I do less backpacking than we used to, and now enjoy sail and oar expeditions as a family in our Goat Island Skiff.
