Have you given thought to making your own birds mouth hollow mast. I built the Spindrift 10 a few years ago. Converted it to a Balanced Lug and made the mast from Douglas Fir. Sales great.

Does anyone have experience converting this boat to a Balanced Lug? It is, of course designed for a Cat rig. I am told by some designers that with boats of this size, the relationship between CE and CLR is more art than science.
