Looks really good, Jeff. I like the way you installed your floor boards. The way you cut out the frame is a great idea. Did you carve the seat? It looks like it will keep you tight and comfortable at the same time. That low rear deck is very cool too. Keep us posted on the progress. barryb

A better way of explaining what I was describing is a flange on all four sides of the skeg box to glue your skin to. Have you come up with a way to attach skin around it or to it? barryb

Jeff, it's looking good. I noticed the staples around the hatch, does your stapler drive them that deep or did you have to finish setting them with a hammer? Also, with respect to the skeg, what about fiber glassing a section of the hull around the unit and then gluing the bottom skin to the panel? Maybe even have it built as a whole skeg unit that would wrap around the chines. I guess you would end up with a type of Bill Hamm section on the bottom. barryb
