Kudzu Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Sort of a long story but the last shopping cart started to show it's real colors as I got it set up and running like I wanted. Basically it was a server hog! Everything got really slow and no one is going to shop where you have to wait 30 seconds for the pages to update. The cure required me to upgrade to a dedicated server (more $$). To keep this short while looking at options I discovered for the same price I could 'buy' a shopping cart hosted by someone else. They do all the server and programing upkeep and I can just be a boat builder instead of a computer tech/programer. It was sort of a no brainer choice. The new shop is now up and running. If you see a problem just let me know. There are still a few things left to do and photos to add but I wanted to get off the old one ASAP! Quote
Canuck Bob Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 For fun I tried to jump around on your new store. I visited the plan page, then Messabout page and clicked on the link to your design page and got an error message that the page wasn't on the server. It is really quick though. Quote
