I just saw on my local PBS channel that there is a documentary series called "New England Maritime Heritage", and one of the episodes details the Herreshoff brothers boat building company. 

If you google "New England Maritime Heritage Herreshoffs", you should find the information about the program.  For anyone in the Philadelphia / Southern NJ area, it will be on this coming Tuesday at 3 pm on the HD channel of WHYY (channel 257 for me on Comcast).
