Great day sailing, East coast

G'day all,

  After helping turn my Princess, good friend Tim Mauser took me sailing!

  Light winds, temps in the 80's, 1-2 ft seas. A beautiful day. And Tim's boat handles real nice. A plastic bottle went overboard at one point. Missed it on the first pass, caught it on the second, amazed at the responsiveness in very light winds. Thanks Tim and Elizabeth, Shannon and I had a blast.

  Which model of Core Sound is that in the photos? I'm trying to narrow my choice of CS and plan to modify mine, somewhat like Gordy Hill did, for fishing. So I scour the available photos on this forum.

I was out on one of those new power cats on Sunday and agree that any day on someone else's boat is great indeed. He's got more tied up in that thing than I do in my house.

That's a Core Sound 20

Hi Greg:  Abientot is a CS-20 launched this summer, and sails out of Ipswich, Massachusetts.  I am very        pleased with its stability, especially as adults and children wander around under sail, and is a relatively dry ride even under spirited conditions.  So with the mizzen mast stowed forward in its keeper there is plenty of room for two or three people to fish with stability.  If the latter attribute is important to you I would hesitate to cut down the prow.
