JetStream Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Does anyone know of any wooden two piece dinghy oars other than the Caviness ones available from Defender or Jamestown Distributors? Those appear to have a zinc plated steel coupling that wouldn't last long around salt water. Two piece would be nice for stowing with a nested dinghy. Maybe I'll have to buy a regular set of wooden oars and design my own coupling. Thoughts are appreciated. Quote
John Turpin Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I made my own oars. They're probably too light weight for serious use but they do move me around and store nicely in my nesting pram.
