The traditional skiers like flat or glassy water and stay out of each others way. These wake board folks love the big chop....and the boats are driven and designed to create big waves and holes. They can be out there in anything but 10K+ winds at any time of the day. (Whereas skiers like the 'ends' of the day) It can be like sailing in a mix master some days. But even at that I don't much care as it gives me something to watch. Quote
