Core Sound 17 Mk3: How much does it really weigh? Can it be put on a diet?

The spec is that the boat weighs 400 to 450 pounds dry, and displaces 1,300.

I'm curious, for those of you who sail one. How much does the boat really weigh, before you take it out for a sail? All in, with masts and sails and paddles and everything that typically belongs on the boat, but not including outboard (if you have one), crew and their gear, or ballast. Has anyone put theirs on a scale?

And if the goal were to make one that weighs less, what build changes would you suggest?
