Lisa amp; Co.

Well, instead of doing chores today, I headed out to the paddlesports show and got inspired to get my butt in gear and get the boats ready for spring...of course it's going to rain and snow over the next couple of days. The good news is that my Thule Hull-a-ports that I bought to fit on the Suburban I used to have should fit the Yakima bars on my old Explorer. I hope that turns out to be the case, as it will save me a bunch of money to get new saddles. Anyone here have any direct experience doing this?

Shane - It's forecasted to snow again late tomorrow/early Monday... Personally, I'm going to go to the Paddlesports show in New Jersey today and ogle all the new gizmos and gadgets that I don't need. I SHOULD be home cleaning up the yard after the winter and preparing the kayaks for some fresh varnish.

I would fell this tree myself if I had a chainsaw, truthfully. It's been dead for years, and isn't in danger of falling on the house, so it's been pretty low priority. However, it IS in reach of falling and crushing the kayaks, which would be a major major bummer.

Joe - When you get bored, you can come chop down a dead tree in my backyard...but you cannot land it on the kayaks, the Snipe, or my son's old Buick. :wink:
