Whats the best way to store my Core Sound 17 off the trailer. What size and how would I place say jack stands to support the boat. I want to possible rearrange the bunks and make use of the rollers on the trailer. And also to be able to store the boat in my garage for the winter. Thanks Ron

Sorry for the previous post of 'retrofitting the transom'.. What was I thinking.. the workmanship is beautiful, my ugly inexperienced hands would not touch it!. Although the boat was built 8 years ago. It looks like it never touched the water. Immaculate! The PO says its been out only ten times.. Im looking to figure out the rigging and try it by the time the day is out on a small lake in the adirondacks . Upper saranac's new boat ramp!! Stay tuned..

I hear you Peter, im no professional but i have worked with epoxy, fiberglass and wood before. I built two CLC kayaks and finished a partially completed passagemaker dinghy as well. I went the route of a wood boat instead of a composite so I could make adjustments or repairs if needed. I guess my question is more structurally. I dont want to compromise the transom or stern when I cut out the section and add a bench. Thanks Ron Im looking forward to the winter project Beautiful job!

Hey RBayley, Is your CS 17 still available? We have a vacation place up in Lake Placid, and are looking for a sailer/motor boat. I have a CLC passagemaker and its fun to motor, and a fine rower, but pretty tender sailing . Instead of trailering our dinghy back and forth to NYC, we were looking to get something around 15. I like the core sound 15, can your CS 17 be beach launched from a trailer off my pickup? Thanks Ron
