  1. Thanks for the suggestion of the mixing paddle. It worked. Feel a little foolish. All the paint and stain I have mixed over the years, I never used a drill with paddle. Would have saved a lot of work when staining the siding on my house and deck. Paint came from Overtons. Just never experienced solids so difficult to mix.
  2. First time user of Interlux Pre-Kote and Brightside. I am having problems mixing a quart of Interlux Pre-Kote. The solids are stuck to the bottom. Used a large screwdriver for 20 minutes. Got a lot of the solid loose from the bottom but it still remains in a lump. Just doesn't seem to want to disperse into the paint solvent. Anyone else have this problem? I have mixed gallons of stain before with solids at the bottom but nothing as difficult as this.
  3. Peter P, I hope your surgery went well and you are on your way to full recovery. What time of week or day suits you for my visit when you are able? Weekdays, evenings, weekends? I'm retired so my schedule is pretty flexible. Clark
  4. When I spoke to Carla, she indicated that Graham had gotten rid of their Spindrifts. Peter P, I do get to Greenville once or twice a month. Would love to take a look at your Spindrift but probably won't be to Greenville till after Thanksgiving. Thanks, Clark
  5. I'm interested in building a Spindrift 12 and would like to look at a completed Spindrift prior to the decision to build. Does anyone have a Spindrift in the Albemarle Sound or Pamlico Sound area that would be willing to let me admire it? I'm located in Roper NC. Thanks
