Most laptops are not 12 volt, this one is 24.5. I think my DELL at work is 18v. plugging it in to 12v ain't enough.

Oyster, Please change your mind about a MAC. Before OS X, I would agree, but now, my family has gone MAC. I hate computers, "appliance from HELL", as my friend says. But since buying this Macbook 10 mos ago, and getting my daughter a Mac Mini for college I'm sold. I will shut up now.

I just bought a 10' piece at my local weld shop. $3.50 a foot for 2x3 by 1/8 sidewall. Any weld shop can order it, if they don't have it in stock.
