  1. Bwb, Is it time for another photo posting? Nemo
  2. Another shot of BWB's kayak coming together
  3. Another view on the same topic for those interested Nemo [attachment over 4 years old deleted by admin]
  4. Chris, Here is one of the photos of the set you sent me to post so that you could see it. Make sense? doesn't matter see photo Nemo [attachment over 4 years old deleted by admin]
  5. bwb taunts me yet again , knowing that while I'm working interstate the only materials I have are paper and bull dog clips. In reply I'd ask why isn't it finished yet, I believe you have had two full days to complete it? Seriously Graham I know bwb will take his time to construct them to a finish that will make you proud. Its just like christmas again, you sort of know whats under the tree. But just can't wait to unwrap the new toys (Lil' Diva). Nemo PS: haven't found any designs on the web utilising paper in their construction but I''l keep looking PPS : How many sheets of ply do you need for the Lil' Diva?
  6. Thats excellent news. I know Chris has one or two spare sheets of 4mm ply laying around, wonder what his answer will be? Meantime I'll continue to clear some room Shaun
  7. Graham, What is Beta testing? Does it mean you have a hull shape to test? I'm busily attacking the CLC project during the christmas new year break in the hope of having a clear garage in February. Shaun
  8. Graham, I heard Chris has got his ply. If you're not careful he'll make the baby diva before the plans arrive. Lucky there's a holiday break and he wasn't albe to fit the 8' x 4' sheets in the suitcase. Merry Christmas and Happy new year Shaun
  9. Graham, Whats the status of the "Baby Diva"? Understand from Chris that you're busy with a 60' 1500hp Diva or something similar at present Don't mean to pressure you, its just that I'm making good progress on current project and am looking forward to the next one. Shaun
  10. Just got back looking forward to more Diva postings Shaun
  11. Graham, Just back for the weekend and caught up with the postings. Excellent to hear that the baby diva is being drafted. i'm off again Monday and this is now seriously affecting my building schedule. (back in 10+ days) Good news for us is that Chris builds two boats in half the time most others take to build one. So I'm forcasting that although the gestation might be long, the delivery of the first Baby to the water will be reasonably quick. I wasn't aware of the "Grand Diva" maybe I should get rid of the LT18? Shaun
  12. Graham, We had talk on the phone today and Chris will email you some details shortly. Just confirmed my son is ~32 Kg and 1.4 m tall this should fit within the ranges given by Chris I hope? I'm about to head off interstate so this is my last post for a while. I'll be back as soon as I can. Shaun l
  13. Graham, You have two customers for sure. I'd ask any reading this who like the idea of child kayak to say "aye" For Jim and Jeff another photo to tide you over until Chris comes out of the workshop and back to his computer Shaun [attachment over 4 years old deleted by admin]
  14. Having a really hard time finding a kayak design that: a) Is smaller than 14' (for my son) That can be built from plans (I'm in Australia) Most I've seen are one offs and in general are not on the top of most designers todo list. Appreciate any links or information PS: Diva is real nice but just to big  [attachment over 4 years old deleted by admin]
