hi there, i've been hearing about new marine navigation apps for smart phones (iphone/android) Are they any good ? would you trust your phone if you were sailing offshore ?? ?? Perhaps with some planning an "ipad" with larger screen could be helpful. But think this is more of a gimmick rather than a safety tool.
