Yes I have one of these to. I use it in my day job in the restoration and conservation of period furniture.This is a quality piece of kit that reaches the parts that others can't, not particularly fast but very accurate .We use almost exclusivly the cropped saw blades but had no idea Graham had invented them.What a small world!

The fibreglass sectional poles Tom is talking about are usually available seperately in various weights and lengths from specialist camping and backpacking outllets -it should be cheaper to purchase them as spares than trash a whole tent (unless of course you can adapt the fabric part as well.)

My vote is with the wine bladders .Easier to fit and remove than bottles and my wife has just volunteered to make an imediate start on emptying them. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU.

Some uk boat builders are using large 2litre drinks bottles to fill airtight compartments.It gets over the problems with foam, but still provides buoyancy in the event of a leak. Cheap as well !

Thanks for clearing that up Graham,I new there would be a logical explanation .I've learnt lots browsing this forum and Oyster is right its very re-assuring to know the designer and other builders give their experiance and support so willingly whenever there is a query. Its good to see so many excelent boats being built as well. 8)

Anyone noticed the diminishing beam in the CS17 .Originally 5ft 10in then 5ft 9.5in and now 5ft 6.5in. I'm sure there's a good reason (increased speed /acceleration or nesting of components maybe),but surely a trade off against stability,versatility, and interior space? :?
