I know what you mean, Steve. The keel was my first experience withplastic resin cement, and I was quite surprised how fast it set up. I actually ended up usind a "hot dog" roller to get the glue spread out fast and evenly. I also found out that in extreme heat,,add a little more water. Well, Congrats, bud. I hope to get back on mine in the morning,,,today was "recovery day", a few naps to try to recover from 35 hours of overtime from call week. amazing the calls you get when you have severe thunderstorms every single evening. I had noticed that the builder of Elusive II used 3/4 on her hull, got me thinking. Actually,,,what got me thinking was the 3 inch extension to my arms after loading and unloading 40 sheets of 3/4 plywood :? Not that I'm planning to use it, but, after reading some of the posts, and after just dismantling 20 ft high storage racks decked with 4x8x3/4 AC plywood, I started wondering if using 3/4 ply for the hull bottom might add some of the bottom weight that some feel might be usefull to the weekender. Any thoughts? Remod

Glad to see ya at it again, Andrew. I hope to start my plywoods this week,,,,I've been "on call" all week,,,ans I think durn nearr all of our 3500 properties have called! It's been rather eventfull,,,with the rash of thunderstorms we've had every evening. Spent 20 straight hours on damage control after one of our condominium buildings was struck by lightning.
