Hello All, In doing some research on various B&B boats I ran across a mention somewhere about different ways to add ballast to the B-19. Could someone here please describe the various ways that ballast weight can be added to a Belhaven. I'm opposed to melting lead, but maybe lead shot embedded in epoxy is an option?, water ballast might be ideal, but not an option with the B-19, is it? Any comments on handling ballast weight in the Belhaven would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ... Dennis

Thanks Randy, my experience so far too. My son lives up in Oregon, just a few miles south of the Washington border and I have seen at least one CS 20 while traveling around that part of the state. Makes you wonder why there aren't a few of these boats sailing the SF Bay, seems like the CS 17/20 would be almost ideal for exploring the Bay and even outside the Gate during nice weather. Thank You Kyle, I love Tahoe, my wife and I go up a couple of times each year. I was interested in a very light capable boat that could be towed up to Tahoe from the Bay Area behind a small vehicle just because we love the Tahoe Basin area so much and the CS 17/20 seemed ideal for that kind of mission. But we would normally be sailing in the SF Bay and Sacramento Delta areas and having a very sea worthy boat was another consideration for sailing in the Bay. It would have been nice to have CS during the last few months just to go whale sightseeing on nice days. I am also considering the Belhaven because it does provide a little privacy and it is relatively lightweight too, so considering the dual mission of towing something up to Tahoe a couple of times a year and sailing the SF Bay may make the Belhaven a better choice.
