Launched my recently completed Ravenswood today.... Paddled about 6km South from Etty Bay to Mourilyan Harbour and then back. Perfect weather - sunny day with a light breeze. It felt a little twitchy at first but I was feeling comfortable in it by the time I returned, this was my introduction to sea kayaks. Great day..1 point

325 lbs is about the Max displacement for this boat. That has is pretty deep in the water. 300 is probably a more practical displacement. Stability Factor is 89. A little lower than a Curlew. Tracking remains to be seen but since it shares a very similar shape to Shad I will surprised if it is not a very good tracking boat. More rocker should make it turn easier too.1 point
