Weekender SNUPI Builder Posted March 10, 2003 Posted March 10, 2003 This is supposed to be the quiet season for real estate, but it's been anything but ! Busy as hell selling some houses and of al lthings, a RV Campground for nearly 3/4 million bucks ! I sold the same campground 4 years ago, so it's been good to me ! Time consuming as hell though . Been sneaking an hour or two here and there and managed to get the inner cabin hull panels in place complete with the chain plate access panels. On one of the pics you can see the space between the inner & outer hulls that will be filled with high density blue foam floatation. The plumbing and PVC enclosed wiring will run along the top of the insulation in such a manner that it can be "fished" if needed, once the decking and toe rails are permanently installed ! The big move that took a lot of "Moanin' chair" thinking, was cutting the hell out of a 3/4 finished cabin roof ! I simply couldn't see leaving it so I'd have to bend my head to one side in order to sit on the bunk ! Sooooo, I figured I'd bite the bullet and fix it now, rather than cuss the head banger later, when the "fix" would be more difficult ! Meant removing the companionway framing as well, and now I have to rebuild the opening frame and doors !
