Dave R1 Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 To Dave R1; This is a pretty old topic but I have a question concerning the set up you have pictured for routing the peak and throat halyards via the blocks located on the forward part of the cabin roof. It looks to me that when going downwind with the mainsail let pretty far out that the boom would be impeded by the halyards. Is this a problem? I appreciate all the help I have received from you and others in building my Weekender as I come close, I think, to the finish line. Thanks! Been away a long time. Sorry about that. To answer your question, no, the halyards never impeded the movement of the boom or sail. The aft shrouds did but not the halyards. Quote
