Russ Sylvester Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 Why on earth would you send him a prime minister?? I bet he was pissed about being sent to some stranger. Quote
Dave R1 Posted February 26, 2004 Author Posted February 26, 2004 I don't know, Russ. It seemed like the thing to do at the time. I suppose I should recall the one I sent to you, huh? He's expecting you to give him a drinkof very old scotch and an excellent meal of haggis. I forgot to say, he's Scottish. Quote
Russ Sylvester Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 Scotch I got and it would be nice to share it with someone who appreciates. My wife hates the stuff. Haggis?? Well.... Quote
Russ Sylvester Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 Correct me if I am wrong but isn't haggis made from sheep's heart, liver, lung and stomach??? I think I heard that it can also be made from beef heart, liver, etc. Now I've eaten some weird things in my day but that one kind of gets out there. It's probably really good and like a lot of people I'm just getting weirded out over the sound of it. Quote
Dave R1 Posted February 26, 2004 Author Posted February 26, 2004 I think they put oatmeal in it. Does that help? Quote
Russ Sylvester Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 Oh, well, there you go! All the difference in the world!! I figured I was just being sqeamish for nothing! Quote
Dave R1 Posted February 26, 2004 Author Posted February 26, 2004 It's just all in how its served. I'm hungry. Time to go find a snack. Quote
Mr. Scott Posted February 27, 2004 Posted February 27, 2004 HAGGIS?!? EEEEYECH! I tried it once and I still have nightmares! Quote
Dave R1 Posted February 27, 2004 Author Posted February 27, 2004 Aye, Mr. Scott, and what would your poor mother be saying about you not liking the the haggis she toiled to make for your dinner, now? Quote
Mr. Scott Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 Probably the same thing...she is Irish! A "friend" was nice enough to let me try it. Quote
