Cutting a spindrift 10 or 11 in half?

Is it possible to change an existing Spindrift 10 or 11 into a nesting version by glassing in 2 bulkheads just forward of amidship and making the cut? Then cut a notch in the aft bench?? How different are the standard and nesting boats? Thanks!

The cockpit is a bit different, but that can be seen easily enough. If you have a sailing version then the daggerboard trunk is different. In the normal version the dagggerboard is vertical, in the nesting version the daggerboard trunk is further forward and the board runs at an angle backwards.

Of course it is possible to cut the boat in half but they won't nest, they will stack. It would be easier to just build the version you want from scratch or a kit. It is a fairly quick build.
