Guest Chris Beebe Posted July 19, 2016 Report Posted July 19, 2016 Hi Robert. Thanks , I do love my job. Got some pics. Quote
JPower210 Posted July 19, 2016 Report Posted July 19, 2016 Nice work- it's great to see a shop producing smaller, well crafted boats! Quote
Guest Chris Beebe Posted July 19, 2016 Report Posted July 19, 2016 Thanks. We always appreciate admiration. Quote
Action Tiger Posted July 19, 2016 Report Posted July 19, 2016 I don't know man... I got three boats a building in the shop now, too, and I spent all day yesterday cleaning... I guess now I gotta get some more clamps. It is seriously wonderful to see somebody making something, I hope you can make a living, too, pard. I had to start calling my stuff art to get enough margin to live. If you call these boats "art" you can charge whatever you want. Call them kinetic sculpture. I will continue to follow and enjoy. Guest Chris Beebe Posted July 19, 2016 Report Posted July 19, 2016 You know, I Got clamps.I Think that is funny, Thanks Quote
Action Tiger Posted July 20, 2016 Report Posted July 20, 2016 Glad you know I'm funnin. Your shop is amazing. I once worked in a production shop with all the stuff, even a gantry crane. We had wood floors, though. And, tons of clamps. Now, I work like a caveman. I do got about a hundred clamps, though! Peace, Robert Quote
Guest Chris Beebe Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 Finely planking the sides. The 6mm bottom planking was a bit of a pain, Had to drill some weep holes in the ply in the bow section to allow the epoxy to expand. I put two pics off a 20 we are doing . thanks. Quote
Guest Chris Beebe Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 epoxy on planking , Making headway Quote
