I am tweaking the plans I used for mine, increasing the beam by 14% about 4'' from 27'' to 31'' So I guess I'l be ordering 17' of the fabric soon... Even one he can take his little dog..... I decided since he doesn't have a place to store it at home, but maybe in his store in his work area hoisted to the ceiling..... http://www.whisperingwindstradingpost.com/ I am making it like a canoe. Could even be a tandem if removable seats are incorporated.... Progress...Mapping out 2 forms in the 4' space for and aft of the center form is a challenge.. WOW I hope it shrinks with the iron.....You just can't pull and stretch out wrinkles by hand like with the 8 Oz.... The tumblehome section on the side is a bear to manhandle the wrinkles out of it.. And don't overlook the fact that since it is such a tight weave, you can actually pull it tight with the stitches. But yes, canvas pliers are great if you are stapling a canoe skin!
