cbuxton41
Hello All, A Forum and boat building newbie here. I am contemplating my first boat build . I have looked a many, many potential sailboat plans and have come down to a choice between B&B's "Mandy/Amanda" and CLC's "Jimmy Skiff". Cost to build is an element in my choice of which boat to build. The B&B website doesn't list a BOM so I don't know how many sheets of plywood are required to build her. Also they dont list the stripped hull weight (sans sail rig) and this is also important to me as I hoping to cartop rather than trailer the boat. "Jimmy Skiff" is listed at 96 lbs. I was wondering if anyone in this august group would be able to provide me with the aforementioned information, which would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Colin in NH
