Got prices, got the designs nailed down and even the ink colors. Trying to settle on what color shirts now. Lots of options. to many! Makes my head spin.

Anyone here that might want a shirt, I am thinking of just ordering LARGE and X_LARGE to start with. Anyone one prefer a different size? I think this will cover 90% of the sales since my base is 99% men (as far as I know anyway).

I could invest close to $1,000 in shirts easily! Just so many options.

I am a slob, so really light colors or white are colors I try not to wear at all. Brown, dark tan, grey, greens and blues and the like hide my spilled coffee stain pretty well.

Since you guys are so willing to give your opinion here is what I am looking at. And I don't mean that as an insult either! I ask on facebook and barely get any answers. So I appreciate the input, even when I disagree! ;)

Here is what I am looking at. The lettering is white, the logo is a light gray. Those colors will print and look good on most any darker colored shirt. Here are a few I put together just looking. Colors or course are not going to be accurate.

GREEN Probably a darker green than this.

Medium Blue

Navy Blue

Red

I think the Navy looks best. I want to do at least 2 different colors. Might do 3 but with the Blueprint shirt that might push my budget a little. If they do well I will buy more of the good colors and might try some other lighter colors latter.

Navy and Khaki (and I voted on facebook) :)

Jeff, it's your company and your decision as you well know. My suggestion is to start off with only one or maybe two options and then see how well they sell before dropping a lot of money into these. Just make sure to have an XL handy, I'll order one next month when I order my cast away plans ;)

I like navy and khaki a lot, too. I have to order some fabric, line, bungee, foot pedals and a back band in a bit, so I'm hoping I'll be able to place an advance T-shirt order when I do. Really look nice, Jeff.

It seems to me that you used to be able to by "Messing-About" stuff here on the site. It was handled through Cafe Press? Is there an advantage to going that route, like not having to invest so much of your cash. I know nothing about how it works. Navy Blue, Khaki for me also.

I'm not even a builder yet, so I don't deserve a voice- BUT, if my 2 cents can be counted, I'd vote for the Navy, Khaki, and Red. 100% pre-shunk cotton, in sizes L and XL for me. I don't care for Green, but it's my co-builder's- my son- favorite color, so there you go. I think "if you build it, they will come" - so no matter what you do, it will be successful..... Money wise for having un-sold inventory laying

around, perhaps limit the sizing to M-L-XL. That would cover the Ladies, and many kids....

That totals about 3 cents worth now......

Thanks for the input, I just need to make up my mind and let her know what to print.

I have a hat from Cafe Press and it is my favorite hat. Super comfortable but the quality of the printing is just so-so. Actually it's not very good to be honest. Maybe it was the logo or the material for the hat. But I was not impressed.

Yep, I no longer offer anything through them. Really spotty quality. The coffee cups faded. The mermaid designs were from my sister, who is an artist, and she gets upset everytime I bring it out in front of her. So I bring it out every time she is over, of course.

The designs look good, and I agree on the navy and kahki. If I get rich in my new venture, maybe I'll even buy one from you (don't add that into your sales forecasting model, though!)
