Frank Hagan
This was my greatest fear when I launched my Weekender. The city of Lanzou in the Gansu Province of China spent 17 million RMB (not dollars; its about $2.5 million) to build the SS Jiugang, a luxury cruiser. They discovered a problem at launch . . . http://youtu.be/YEaMdUFS750
PAR
I question the "pro's" aspect of the thread title. When spending a few million on a luxury yacht, you'd expect a travel lift or crane to launch with. Instead you have Jim Bob and his kid brother Joe Larry, along with their drinking buddies. In this case it's Bong Dong, Tweetle Dee and the local homeless shelter helping out. No preventers are strung, no on water assistance (shepherding vessel), too small of bags, too few off bags and no concept of how to launch a large yacht. The stern is well under and the cabin awash aft, yet they're still pushing it out. Yep, I have a real problem with the "pro's" element of the thread title.
