Jim Stumpf
Not a B&B design but I thought I might share these since I finally got around to rounding up some pictures. http://picasaweb.google.com/jamesjstumpf/NF15Web?authkey=Gv1sRgCJf4-cGlgsuEQQ# Jim
ricknriver
Sweet little mini-cruiser and decent stats in her OP. Really nice work. Rick
Dig
Fantastic, well done. Lotta boat for length! I see a lot of offset 'centre?' boards in pocket cruiser / daysailers? How does that work? Does it favour / detract one tack / sailing point from another? DIG
Jim Stumpf
Hey Dig, Thank you, she is a big little boat and I have had a lots of fun with her. I have the off center board on Primrose and on a 16 ft sailing Pirogue and to the best of my skills have never thought twice about better performance on one tack vs another. I am not a racer and then again the boats that I have built were not designed for racing but a hardcore racer may notice some very subtle differences if there are any. Does it favour / detract one tack / sailing point from another? It probably has an affect but I would guess that it would be so small that it would defy measurement. It does however greatly affect the space in the middle of the boat.
