MikeStevenson Posted March 4, 2003 Report Share Posted March 4, 2003 Sorry, I didn't make that clear. I'm making a new tank; it hasn't had any fuel in it yet as it's just sheets of steel right now. I'm still not sure whether I'll braze or weld. It'll depend on how exact the joints need to be for brazing. Welding would be tough on the 22 ga, but possible. I'm catching flack from friends for making the tank in metal after our rows about the whole metal vs. glass deal for the CycleKarts. I guess it all depends on the project...
