The thin stuff is about like a contractor's trash bag, and it is not the right stuff. Ken_Potts Posted October 18, 2008 Report Share Posted October 18, 2008 I've used clear vinyl by the yard from the evil walmart down the street. Thick vinyl leaves a glassy (yes, glassy) finish if you get the bubbles out. Don't try to bed thick stuff around sharp bends but on a flattish surface the thinner the plastic the greater the chance for wrinkles. Wrinkles = sanding and sanding = sorrow...
