kmrmike Posted March 22, 2007 Report Share Posted March 22, 2007 I was able to glass the outside of the hull this past weekend with the help of my two sons James and Jason , brother Russ and like a brother, Paul. I mixed the epoxy and the others spread it over the hull. I used 22 oz. Triaxial on the bottom of the hull to give me extra strength and thickness and 17 oz biaxial on the sides. kmrmike Posted March 23, 2007 Author Report Share Posted March 23, 2007 Let's assume the hull is upsidedown as pictured, you would be looking at a dent in the hull. The plywood gave a flat and symetrical surface. with slats on the inside of the hull matching the outside slats...when screwed together would tend to straighten out the dent against the plywood.
