Arnie Eaton
For the last year or so, I as part of a group, have been working with Cambell Hausfed delveloping a battery operated paint sprayer or gun. We are down to the color sceme this week and selection should be complete soon. I do not know when production will take place but should be soon, within a year, maybe as soon as six months. If you have thought of getting a paint sprayer you may want to give this unit some thought. Having the paint and power all in one small hand held unit would make painting a boat very easy, NO CORDS or HOSE.
capt jake
Now you tell me. I just bought an HVLP a couple of months back. Sounds like an excellent idea!!! :)
Greg Luckett
Arnie, I am curious about how long the battery will last and if they will cost an arm and a leg for spares. Thanks.
Arnie Eaton
I should have battery info within a couple of weeks. Will post more as I get it. (And if they will let me) I bought a HVLP unit a year ago and have never used it sofar.
Frank Hagan
Is it a "limited overspray" like a HVLP rig? I bought an inexpensive Wagner HVLP sprayer and like it a lot. There is more overspray than I thought there would be, but I guess that's what you get with the less expensive guns.
capt jake
I had a surprising amount of overspray with my unit (HVLP). More than I expected anyway. I am going to try a lower pressure next time. When I bought mine, there were numerous different pressure models. I simply guessed at which one to get.
