merrimange
how about a unprecedented messing-about .com gathering we plan whereby we put say 50 guys at it at one time and build something along these lines. Kind of a take on the build a home in 48 hours concept. I know I know, the curing takes time, the paint has to dry, etc. - but work with me, okay. Greg Luckett
Sam, Ben, and I would want to be in on this one. The boys' boat, Dragon, is just a taste of a Viking boat.
MikeStevenson
So if I gather correctly, this boat (which is interesting in a whole bunch of ways for me) is made from popsickle sticks over some structural foam? Interesting indeed. Mike

Charlie Jones
The boat was built and is being sailed by the brother of a friend of mine And yes, it's built from popsicle sticks, epoxied together. Greg Luckett
Gives a whole new meaning to a cold molded hull . . . I just looked in the newest book just received, "The New Cold-Molded Boatbuilding", by Reuel B. Parker, from WoodenBoat Books. I cannot seem to find how to use popcycle sticks for this process. Incidently, I did it again and double ordered this book. Another donation to the local library I suppose.
