Failure of non-skid coating

I used the non-skid additive from West Marine in Interlux for the working areas of the decks. Well, when you are crazy enough to go sailing on the last day of November and the decks get wet and the wetness then freezes...Ice is very slippery. Ok, I confess, I made this up! the decks didn't freeze but they almost did. I went out for about 3 hours and by the time I returned the sun had gone down and it was so cold that I lost the feelling in my fingers! I need a good pair of insulated gloves and I think I could sail all year long. Maybe if I sand the launch ramp where I will be pulling out...The best part of cold weather sailing is that you just about have the lake to yourself and it's very quiet. Life is wonderful here in the Pacific Northwest. I will use this post to test the e-mail notification feature and to see if the temporary graphic upload will work for me.

Picture worked fine ... and this message will let you know if the email function worked (I think it will only work when the response is posted from the test board.)

Here's a message from the test board to see if the email notification works (it won't if posted from the regular board, I think).

Looks like the mail system isn't working ... I get a mail system error from the Test board. I'll have to look at the configuration again. Thanks!
