John Kinnane
Nice looking boat Bob. Like the finish, looks really nice. What is the boat though ? Is it a Hartley ?
MikeStevenson
Nice! Is this an industrial LPU? I've seen more and more urethanes (or at least some type of great-looking, self-leveling, tough paint) showing up at low prices lately. We may have to go back to speccing non-boat paint. Good call. Steve Day
Bob, Very nice work dressing that Hartley up. It looks like a different boat from the one you brought into the yard a few weeks ago. Thanks for showing us how it should be done. Steve
BobSmalser
It's a plain old high-solids alkyd gloss enamel similar to Kirby's but made in CA and cheaper. The real test will be how it holds up, but I think it will serve well.

John Kinnane
Hi Bob, Follow your articles with interest. I have the plans for a Belhaven but unable to start just yet so I have just bought a 16' Hartley that I will pick up in a couple of days.
