Kennneee Posted January 16 Posted January 16 The Lapwing is designed by Graham Byrnes of B&B Yacht Design and built by Ken Katz. Her epoxy over Okume plywood lapstrake hull is light weight, easily driven and stable. She is rigged as a Cat Ketch with birds mouth hollow Yellow Cedar masts and Yellow Cedar sprits. The main mast is set on a tabernacle for easy rigging. Her rails and coamings are built from Sapele Mahogany and the hull is finished in a 2 part linear polyurethane. Her tanbark sails were custom made by Leitch and McBride in Victoria British Columbia. There are custom built Yellow Cedar oars and many extras included.
