The boat and trailer are located, titled and registered in Virginia.

 

I've been sailing the boat this summer, and it's ready for sailing now.

 

I've got several motors to choose from - 2.5 hp Suzuki, 3.5 hp Tohatsu, or electric with 100 a/h li-ion battery.

 

The trailer (with spare tire) is in good condition and ready for a trip of any distance. 

 

I'll have it at the messabout this year. Feel free to ask any questions. 

 

I think it's worth about $5500, but I'm open to offers.

I'm planning to bring the boat to the Messabout, and the boat and I will be there on Friday and Saturday. If anyone's interested in buying the boat, I'll have the paperwork with me. Also, if you're leaning towards one motor or another, let me know ahead of time, and I'll bring it. Otherwise, I'll pick one, and someone can make an offer with or without a motor. 

 

I've sold a few boats, and as long as you're asking a reasonable price, I've found that most buyers for a boat like this are not particularly price sensitive. That being said, I can be quite flexible on price this fall, but I'll make a more concentrated effort to market it during the spring and the price will be firmer.

Were you able to sell your Core Sound 17 last fall? If it is still available, I would be interested in coming to see the boat. I live in Boones Mill, Virginia. So maybe not too far from where you are.

The boat is still available. Looks like I'm about 3 hours from you, about an hour north of Charlottesville. I'm retired, so my schedule can be flexible.
