Brent
I was looking at pads to put on the trailer bunks http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=38633&item=2430454753 and got to thinking about bunk width. The trailer has got 2x4 for bunks, sitting on edge so that the boat is supported by the 1.5" side. Is that going to be thick enough to support the boat without deforming the hull? The boat has been sitting on the trailer for about two months now, and all is fine. If I am going to need a change, now would be a good time to do it. What is the experience out there? Right now I have the bunks running at an angle to the lines on the boat so that the bunk runs under the side of the hull aft and the seat stringer mid ship...in hopes of spreading the weight bearing to both members.
