Hirilonde
Interesting. I would be curious as to whether it really added any significant abrasion resistance. It says it is flexible, which is a big plus.
Douglas Jacobs
I'll certainly post the results if I choose to go that route.
Kudzu
I am very skeptical of any thick product that doesn't soak into the fabric. My issue with latex paint has been it was so thick it didn't soak in and jut laid on the surface of the skin and scrapped off. Since this can be used as a dip it is obviously thick, it makes me skeptical. Of course it could adheare really well to the fabric. I also wonder how well it finish. If it will get smooth out and look good? But I admit I am always skeptical when it comes to new coatings. Oil based paint works very well and looks good.
