Nate Posted July 4, 2018 Report Share Posted July 4, 2018 Hi On the vardo instructions there are instructions for a coaming brace that doesnt actually attach to the coaming. I didnt see instructions in the book so am a bit confused on where/ how it attaches to the boat and how best to shape it. Any instructions would be helpful. Thank you! Then extend the tops of those to end at a point where the coaming will rest on them. They locate at the sides of the coaming to support your weight and skin tension. Kudzu Posted July 9, 2018 Report Share Posted July 9, 2018 Been out of town. But as it says in the manual, these are just so that coaming rests on these, they are not attached to the coaming. Over time and depending on the plywood used they can start to bend to much and this is just so when you put you weight on it, they hit these stops and prevent the coaming from bending too much. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
