epoxy vs titebond 3

I'm building a skin on frame boat and the builder suggests epoxy which I have never liked to work with. I was wondering if I could use Titebond 3 instead for all of the parts that need screwing and gluing. I know that Titebond is not for use in full contact with water. Water may touch the joint once in a while but will never be under water for extended periods of time. I will seal up the joints with a good coat of paint or polyurethane varnish. Any help will be appreciated.

Thankyou

Walter- Not in that particular application but have used it in lots of glue ups, paddles, etc.  I did have one paddle delaminate but that was the glue starved joint I mentioned.  I always apply the glue to both sides of the joint and make sure there is is enough so that when it soaks into the wood, the joint is not dry.  I have lashed a few SOF boats and have been very satisfied.  More than one way to skin a boat.....
